Jaquettes pour cassettes

Veuillez ne pas faire de liens directs vers ces fichiers, ni les publier sur un autre site. Ils sont réservés à votre usage personnel.

Les jaquettes mesurent 27,4*19,5 cm et sont conçues pour des boîtiers en plastique standards.

Pour chaque saison, le fichier compressé comprend six images à imprimer. Une fois assemblées, les tranches des boîtiers devront constituer les images ci-dessous. Pour les saisons 1 et 3, il existe également une jaquette indépendante pour ceux qui ne souhaitent pas imprimer toutes les jaquettes ou qui n'ont enregistré que quelques épisodes (il n'y aura pas de jaquettes "individuelles" pour les autres saisons).

N.B. : Bien que la saison 5 soit plus courte (17 épisodes au lieu de 22), les jaquettes sont tout de même prévues pour six cassettes...

Soirée Alias sur Téva

Alias revient sur Téva dès le 29 septembre : les trois premiers épisodes de la saison cinquième (et dernière) saison seront diffusés à partir de 20:50.

Ils seront suivis à 00:10 d'un documentaire sur les coulisses de la série, Alias Confidential, incluant notamment l'interview exclusive accordée à Téva par un des nouveaux acteurs de la saison 5 (et non, je ne donne pas le nom de l'acteur en question, histoire de ne pas spoiler ceux qui ne seraient pas au courant ;-))

Il n'y a pour l'instant pas d'infos sur une éventuelle (re)diffusion en VOST.

La saison 5 sur Téva

Téva devrait diffuser la saison 5 d'Alias à partir du 29 septembre. Pour l'instant, il n'y a pas de précisions complémentaires (jours, horaires, VO/VF, nombre d'épisodes par semaine...).

Petit rappel : la saison 5, qui est la dernière de le série, ne compte que 17 épisodes au lieu des 22 habituels.

Qu'était l'Horizon ?
==> Il s'agissait d'une sphère conçue par Rambaldi et qui activait le piédestal de sa tombe, puis recueillait le liquide de la balle rouge (NdT : petit modèle ;-))

Irina est-elle tombée sur la sphère ? Dans le dernier plan, après sa chute, une de ses mains est sous son dos. Peut-elle avoir écrasé la sphère sous elle et avoir "ressucité" ? Il a fallu un peu de temps pour que ça agisse sur Sloane.
==> Non, la sphère a roulé un peu plus loin. Elle a certainement été récupérée et détruite par Sydney.

Considérant les actes de Nadia à la fin, était-elle alors vraiment une manifestation de l'imagination ou de la conscience de Sloane ?
==> Elle était sa conscience. Je pense que tuer Nadia - qu'il aimait profondément - a causé une sorte de rupture émotionnelle ou psychique chez Sloane.

Sloane va-t-il vivre éternellement, enfoui sous la roche, ou bien finira-t-il par mourir ?
==> Sloane est immortel, il va rester en vie plusieurs dizaines de mètres sous terre.

Et malheureusement... aucune explication sur la signification des lettres en surbrillance ou du nombre 47 ;-))

Your Lingering Alias Questions—Answered ! After Monday night's fantastic series ender, many of you fellow fans posted on our message boards the unanswered questions still weighing heavily on your minds. Truth be told, I really wanted answers to some of them, too, so I emailed executive producer Jeff Pinkner, who graciously emailed right back the following answers.

Q : In the finale, did Irina say, "Rambaldi is alive," "Rambaldi is love" or Rambaldi "is life" ?
A : "Rambaldi is life...Through him we can live forever."

Q : What was the horizon ?
A : The horizon was the Rambaldi-designed glass sphere that activated the pedestal in his tomb and then received the liquid from the hovering red ball.

Q : Did Irina fall on the sphere ? In the final shot, one hand was bent behind her back after she fell. Could she have squished the ball but then have been resurrected by it ? It did take a while to work on Sloane.
A : No, the ball rolled away, presumably recovered by Syd, who would have had it destroyed.

Q : Given the actions of Nadia at the end of the show, was she truly just a figment of Sloane's imagination/conscience ?
A : She was his conscience. I think killing Nadia—whom he deeply loved—caused some sort of emotional/psychotic rift for Sloane.

Q : Is Sloane going to live forever under a rock, or is he eventually going to die ?
A : Sloane is immortal, living forever buried 200 feet beneath the earth.

There you have it. The classified intel. (I'm gonna miss saying that.) Unfortunately, Jeff wouldn't tackle whether the highlighted letters in the city names or the number 47 meant anything, so I'll have to harass JJ Abrams next time I see him.

TV Review : ALIAS - SEASON 5 -"Reprisal/All The Time In The World
Everything comes together in the end with Rambaldi, Jack and Sloane and Syd and her mother squaring off in a final steel cage match battle royal

As Darth Vader once said, the circle is now complete. The series finale to ALIAS left hardcore fans with a proper send off, wrapping up all the plotlines involving Sloane and his obsession with Milo Giacomo Rambaldi, Sydney's parents and the relationship between Vaughn and Syd. The only big questions left - who was gonna die and who would survive the onslaught of a series finale with so much history and hype built into it.

The first half of the series finale, “Reprisal,” was just OK with Sloane making a power grab with Sark and Peyton in tow helping him get “The Twelve” out of the way as well as bombing APO's facilities in the process taking out Thomas Grace (Balthazar Getty) in the process. Supposedly this was a big deal in the series that Grace died but having only watched the previous three episodes and being extremely bored by the romance between Grace and Rachel Gibson (Rachel Nichols), it was a huge “eh” moment. Had Dixon or any of the other characters taken the plunge, maybe it would have been cool but not some dude who has only been with the show for one season.

“Reprisal” featured a great intro with Sydney explaining who Prophet Five are and did a good job wrapping up what has happened until this point just in case some long time fans tune into to see the end (although moving it to Monday at the last minute, probably not the best idea to keep a good fan base). But I kept thinking this should have been done sooner, maybe a simpler explanation would have had more people understanding and watching the show rather than be so cryptic about everything for so long.

By far, however, the real gem of the two-hour ALIAS send-off was the second hour, “All The Time In The World,” a fast-paced, emotional and very enjoyable hour bringing everything back round with wonderful flashbacks filling in the blanks between Jack and Sydney's time when they were together without Irina and her first few days with SD-6. I also really enjoyed the highly emotional final conversation with Syd and her father. After everything the two has been through it was nice to have that sincerity come through and the love that obviously was there for the past five seasons.

So the main build-up in “All The Time In The World” was Sloane finally discovering Rambaldi's secret (immortality) only to have Jack, Vaughn, and Sydney arrive just in time to stop him from carrying out his plans. Fitting that these have been all of the main characters from the show and the pursuit of Rambaldi's machinations has been the centerpiece of the entire show. Again, bringing everything full circle.

Sloane shooting Jack was not unexpected but the quickness with which Sydney emptied an entire clip into Sloane was anti-climatic and I'm glad it was not the last we saw of Ron Rifkin's character. How brilliant was Jack to go back into the cave where Sloane was and say “You couldn't defeat me” bringing down the entire mountain on top of a now immortal Sloane (thanks to the secret Rambaldi juice he cooked up) with a truckload of explosives. Having lost every one he cared for only to have the one thing he wanted come to fruition be for naught was a fitting end for the immortal Sloane who is forever trapped under a mile of rock and stone.

Unfortunately, that's where the good ends and we must witness the obligatory wrap-up with Irina and Sydney, who it seemed, was just penciled in because they didn't know what else to do with her so why not make her a bad guy again then quickly kill her off, and the final few moments with the new Bristow clan and another burgeoning prodigy in Sydney's daughter by putting together some impossible puzzle that seems like a piece of cake.

So for those who just want the bottom line here it is - Jack, Irina, Thomas Grace, Sloane (for all intents and purposes) are dead ; Syd, Vaughn, Marshall, Sark, Dixon are alive.

Like Sydney, "Alias" kept reinventing itself
Departing show featured tangled plots and plenty of dress-up

When “Alias” debuted in 2001, the advertisements for the show featured star Jennifer Garner in a brilliant red wig. Besides being an homage to Tom Twyker's thrilling film “Run Lola Run,” whose similarly take-charge female star had bright-red hair, the ads also illustrated one of the show's early trademarks : Garner's multiple costume changes as undercover CIA agent Sydney Bristow.

In most episodes, Sydney would show up in exotic locations, from eastern Europe to South America, and enter glossy places such as dance clubs or office buildings dressed in a spectacularly campy and outrageous costumes that were frequently topped with incredible wigs. After interacting with others in character, often speaking languages other than English, she'd proceed to gain access to a high-security area and kick major butt, as CIA agents regularly do, especially when they're backed by a hip soundtrack.

Sydney's multiple costume changes also worked well as a metaphor for the series itself, which over its five-season run has reinvented itself perhaps more than any other modern TV drama.

Despite that constant reinvention, which was aimed at keeping the series creatively fresh, the show never quite gained back the momentum it had in those early costume-heavy days.

“Alias,” which bows out on May 22, began with what seemed to be a simple premise : Sydney Bristow was a graduate student and an undercover CIA agent who worked for a black ops division of the agency called SD-6. She soon discovered, however, that she was not working for the real CIA, but for a terrorist organization, and she became a double agent. Her desire to help take down SD-6 was due in no small part to the fact its leader, Arvin Sloane (played smarmily by stubble-covered Ron Rifkin) had her fiancé assassinated when Sydney told him that she worked as a secret agent.

Spy vs. Spy
Working with Sydney to help destroy SD-6 was her handler, real CIA agent Michael Vaughn ; naturally, they quickly fell in love with each other. The nature of their jobs, however, made that love impossible to realize, because it would compromise both their mission and their lives. In addition, Sydney's co-workers, including SD-6 partner and friend Marcus Dixon and quirky comic-relief tech guy Marshall Flinkman, were not aware that they were working for a terrorist organization.

As if all of that wasn't enough to complicate Sydney's life, there was her strained relationship with her estranged father, Jack (played with determination, yet few facial expressions by Victor Garber) who also worked as a double agent inside SD-6. And in season two, we met Irina Derevko, Sydney's mother, who was herself a spy, although for the KGB. Together, Sydney, Spy Daddy and Spy Mommy, as they're affectionately known, formed a trio desperately in need of family therapy.

Despite the family-centered nature of much of the show's drama, the series was not just, as it was sometimes described, “Felicity working for the CIA.” Instead, it slowly built a mythology that made it much more “Carnivale” than “24.” There was so much conspiracy and prophecy that viewers needed an Excel spreadsheet and an Absurd-O-Meter to keep track of everything, even though it all ultimately ended up meaning very little.

Over its five-season run, the series changed directions at least three, perhaps four, times : in the middle of season two, when SD-6 was demolished and Sydney and Vaughn were finally able to kiss in public ; at the beginning of season three, when Sydney woke up having lost two years of her life as a brainwashed spy ; and at the beginning of season four, when Sydney joined a real black ops division of the CIA called APO.

The effect of the first “reboot,” as fans refer to the changes, was to effectively kill the series' major tension. The CIA took down SD-6, which, of course, was just a small part of a big, sticky web, and Sydney was able to level with her friends and develop a slightly more functional relationship with Vaughn.

Although it was clearly difficult for the writers to sustain the initial double-agent premise over time, that's what gave the series its emotional weight and drama, and without it, Sydney just treaded water in her wigs.

The middle reboot went in an entirely new direction, and lost its way, marrying off Vaughn and spreading out the old SD-6 crew.

This last reboot is notable because it sought to bring everyone back together and return “Alias” to its roots. Marshall and Dixon returned, and, implausibly, Arvin Sloane came back to lead the new CIA organization. As before, he was eventually revealed to have betrayed his friends and family.

And along comes baby
The fifth and final season was a sort of mini-reboot, as it introduced new characters, one of whom, Rachel, came to work for APO after discovering that she'd been working for an SD-6-like operation.

The fifth season also resolved the fourth season cliffhanger, in which Vaughn revealed that his name wasn't really Michael Vaughn and that he'd been working inside the CIA for reasons other than duty to his country. But that, like many of these latest twists, was a shock that drifted off to sleep with very little follow-up. Vaughn was later shot and killed, but by the time Michael Vartan was ready to make a cameo, we discovered that he'd survived and was in hiding.

These twists were remarkably anti-climactic, mostly because “Alias” set a high bar for itself in its early years, striving for more than silly, shocking plot twists. While the writers tried very hard, they could never quite recapture the tension that existed inside SD-6. As this sometimes complicated, often ridiculous plot unfolded, the series lost its greatest hook : the dilemma of a woman caught in the middle of a web of lies and conspiracies that she never really wanted to be part of, especially those that involved her family.

When Lena Olin appeared as Sydney Bristow's duplicitous mother at the beginning of the second season, the series reached its creative peak. Watching Sydney navigate her relationship with her parents as they negotiated their relationships with one another and, eventually, went on missions together, “Alias” was at its best.

That was true even during the final season when one such mission ended with Sydney giving birth with her backstabbing mother at her side, a scene which played on all of viewers' emotions at once.

Not bad at all for a show that liked to play dress-up.
